When the contract is signed, in order to confirm your date, we require a 50% deposit. 90 days prior to your event, the remainder of your facility fee will be due.

How do I reserve a date?

To reserve a date and The Barn at Woods Fort, email us at kdean@woodsfortgolf.com. We recommend giving us a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. You can request a tour on our Contact Us page. Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has paid the 50% deposit first will have the date.

Will there be another wedding or event the same day?

No. At The Barn, we only host one wedding or even each day to ensure that your special day is everything that you've dreamed of.

Is there a food and beverage, or guest count minimum?

No. All events that choose of one of liquor packages must be done through The Barn at Woods Fort. You can use our catering service or choose from one of our Catering Partners!

Do you offer 8 foot/farm tables, instead of round tables?

Yes!

We have a limited number of straight tables and farmhouse tables onsite that can be used for your gift table, head table, etc. Usually we have ten extra 8 foot tables that can be mixed in with reception seating, but the majority of your guests will be seated at round tables. We offer a 66 inch round that can seat up to 10 people.

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, water pitchers, and centerpieces?

Yes we do! Not only do you get a great new venue, we include linen, glassware, silverware, napkins, and salt and pepper shakers, to name a few. Table decor options are also offered to include base plates as well!

What happens in case of inclement weather?

In the case of rain or snow we have a beautiful backdrop indoors. Guests sit at their tables and The Barn's team moves a few (usually 5 - 7) tables down the middle of the room to create a beautiful aisle. Our couples have loved this option because it’s a stunning ceremony location and doesn’t require the room flip that other venues require, which would be disruptive to your event.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at Woods Fort Golf Course. Does your fee change?

Because we only host one event per day, our fee structure can change based on the size of your event. We offer one location on the golf course for your ceremony. Price varies based on size of the event.

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

You will have access to the venue at the time listed on your contract, not earlier. Please plan accordingly!

Do you include a "wedding day coordinator?"

We do have a team leader here, before you arrive onsite, who stays with you throughout the duration of your big day. The Barn leader's goal is to do everything they can to help your day go smoothly and as stress-free as possible!

Does The Barn at Woods Fort handle the catering orders for these caterers, or do I work with the caterer directly?

In our experience, it's most efficient and most cost effective for couples to work directly with the caterer. Simply book your big day with The Barn and reach out to the caterers of your choosing to schedule a tasting and get the ball rolling! Contact info for each caterer is on this page.

After doing much research and several tastings of our own, we highly recommend Woods Fort Catering, Sugarfire Catering, Artistic Affairs, Andre's, or Callier's Catering. All of these options are available on our Catering page!

Planning Questions

If we choose the one day option, will we be able to access the location early to rehearse our ceremony or event?

If you elect the one day rental, our venue will likely be reserved by another couple the night before. For that reason, one day rentals should plan for an off-site rehearsal during the week. Our team recommends that the DJ, Florist, Minister, or your preferred caterer understand the venue prior to your event.

What time does the music need to end?

Music on Friday's/Saturday's must conclude by 11 p.m. to ensure that you, all of your items, and all of your vendors are off-property by midnight. Music on Sunday's must conclude by 9:30 p.m. to be off property by 10:00 pm.

What time do you suggest we start the ceremony or event?

We suggest starting Friday weddings at 5:00 pm, Saturday weddings between 3:00 - 5:00 pm, and Sunday weddings at 3:00 - 4:00 pm. We offer other options if wish.

Are candles allowed?

Yes, candles are allowed as long as the flame is completely contained in a candle holder. Tapered candles and any type of hanging candles will not be allowed for safety reasons.

Are outside snacks and trays permitted?

Outside food and drink must be provided from or Vendors We Love list. No glass bottles are allowed without permission from our Event Director.

What is the event clean-up process?

The Barn at Woods Fort and catering staff will handle all standard clean up and trash removal throughout and following the wedding reception. All other items must be taken the night of the event or by 10 am the following day. An event clean-up could be applicable.
